When arriving on Isla Mujeres all our stress was washed away. The island is vibrant and alive! From the very first person we met at the little Bonita Isla Bar to the last cab back to the airport; everyone was so kind and gracious. It really was great that Jesse spoke Spanish but you can definitely get around without it. Downtown is a lot of fun, tons of great food and things to do.
We loved the position of the condo on the island as it was quiet and relaxing with a beach right across the street. 
That beach is nice but we really liked hopping on our scooter (a must) and going down to Club Playa (go left from condo and then 1/4 mile on the right) It costs 50 pesos but has great snorkeling so it's worth it.
The views from the condo are breathtaking, there is everything you need there if you want to cook although the food is so fresh and affordable it's very easy to eat out for every meal. The whole trip was perfect, we can't wait to go back!
